On this episode we discuss:
  1. The struggles athletes go through when reshaping their identity without sports.
  2. How to leverage the internet for opportunities
  3. And the importance of taking action.

#106 - On today's episode we feature ex-professional football player Derrick Furlow turned motivational speaker.

Knowing that he wouldn't be able to play football forever, Derrick made sure to focus on his education while attending the University of Tennessee, obtaining both his Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies and his Masters of Science degree in Sports Psychology within four years.

These days Derrick spends his time as an author and a public motivational speaker, oftentimes talking about transitions that athletes go through, especially when leaving sports. He has made it his goal to impact, inspire, and empower others, both online and in person.
